Do you work with electromagnetic equipment filled with SF₆? Are you wondering how to recover gas from hermetic and non-hermetic equipment? Do you want to learn the principles of composition testing and how to handle decomposition products? Take advantage of the “SF₆ gases” training – gain comprehensive knowledge about sulfur hexafluoride and strengthen your position on the market!
The “SF₆ gases” training organized by the PROZON Foundation is a specialized course dedicated to people working with power engineering equipment containing sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆). We are the only institution in Poland accredited by the Office of Technical Inspection (UDT) to conduct examinations in the field of SF₆, which guarantees the highest quality of training and recognition of the obtained qualifications.
What is SF₆?SF₆ (sulfur hexafluoride) is classified as a so-called fluorinated greenhouse gas (F-gas) – a synthetic gas with a very high Global Warming Potential (GWP). Its greenhouse potential makes it one of the most potent greenhouse gases known – its molecules can remain in the atmosphere for up to thousands of years. That is why proper training of personnel operating equipment containing SF₆ is so important – learning the principles and recommendations for working with such equipment not only helps prevent emissions, but also ensures workplace safety. |
The first day of the F-gas training – the theoretical part – will provide you with comprehensive knowledge both about the properties of SF₆ and its impact on the environment, as well as available alternatives. You will receive our proprietary handbook, which will guide you through all the necessary processes and make it easier to retain the information. You will learn about the applicable legal regulations and technical standards governing the use and control of SF₆ in the power engineering industry.
During the practical training, you will acquire skills useful in working with SF₆. You will learn how to safely recover gas from equipment. You will become familiar with the principles of measuring and assessing the quality of recovered gas and undergo leak detection training, which will help you prevent potential leaks in the future and protect the environment.
