Knowledge and skills related to CO₂-based refrigeration are increasingly required in the sanitary and HVAC industry. Company owners and facility managers expect their employees to have knowledge of alternative refrigerants confirmed by internationally recognized certificates. Currently, the only such document is REAL Alternatives 4 Life – a certificate that you can obtain by participating in our refrigeration course.

Our offer was created in response to the challenges facing the industry, which is why we decided to continue the European training project REAL Alternatives. We established the Academy of Alternative Refrigerants and launched a laboratory that enables the development of practical skills on technologically advanced refrigeration circuits.
After completing the training, we conduct an exam, the successful result of which allows you to obtain the international REAL Alternatives 4 LIFE Professional Certificate – a project of which we are proud to be a part. This project is co-financed by the European Union and focuses on delivering training in the field of refrigeration based on alternative refrigerants (carbon dioxide and flammable refrigerants). It is co-created not only by PROZON, but also by several other European institutions specializing in refrigeration.
On the first day of the training, each participant will receive all necessary training materials from us – including the handbook prepared by our professionals, titled “Carbon Dioxide–Based Refrigeration”. We also provide meals and beverages for all participants.
During the training, we will present not only the principles of working with CO₂ systems – we will teach the fundamentals of designing transcritical and cascade systems, automation and monitoring, system charging and evacuation, and much more.
The practical part of the training will be conducted using two large, multi-compressor and multi-stage transcritical refrigeration units (RIVACOLD and AC PROREF) operating with the CO₂ refrigerant.
On the last day of the training, we will conduct an exam, the successful completion of which will ensure that all participants receive the international REAL Alternatives 4 LIFE certificate.
