What do we handle as part of the collaboration? We perform:
Support in managing the Central Operator Registry (CRO) is dedicated to any entrepreneur required to maintain a CRO account. This obligation applies to anyone operating certain refrigeration or air conditioning equipment containing at least 5 tons of CO₂ equivalent.
A device must meet all the following criteria:
01 Contains a refrigerant that is either a GWP-regulated substance (F-gas) or a SZWO. |
02 Contains at least 5 tons CO₂ eq of F-gas from Annex I of Regulation (EU) 2024/573 (for non-hermetically sealed devices) or at least 10 tons CO₂ eq for hermetically sealed devices, or at least 1 kg F-gas from Annex II section 1 (non-hermetically sealed) or 2 kg (hermetically sealed), or at least 3 kg SZWO from Annex I of Regulation (EU) 2024/590. |
03 Must be a stationary refrigeration device, stationary air conditioning unit, heat pump, electrical switchgear, device containing F-gas-based solvent, mobile refrigeration unit (truck or trailer), organic Rankine cycle system, or stationary fire protection system. Fire protection systems require a Fire Protection System Card; all other devices require an Equipment Card. |
04 Hermetically sealed stationary devices with less than 3 kg of F-gas, used in residential buildings, are exempt from CRO registration if labeled as hermetically sealed. |
