To keep up with the market, it is necessary to continuously expand your knowledge and skills beyond basic theoretical foundations – this is made possible by participating in our flammable refrigerants training.

The competencies required by employers in the refrigeration industry have long gone beyond basic knowledge. Many facility owners and companies expect their employees not only to have broad practical skills in the field of alternative refrigerants, but also to hold a document confirming these competencies. Currently, the only such European certificate is REAL Alternatives 4 LIFE.
As the PROZON Foundation, we have been the national leader of the European training project REAL Alternatives 4 LIFE for years. This project is co-financed by the European Union and focuses on delivering training in the field of refrigeration based on alternative refrigerants (carbon dioxide and flammable refrigerants). It is co-created not only by PROZON, but also by several other European institutions specializing in refrigeration.
We had the pleasure of organizing our first internal training on refrigeration installations operating on CO₂ as early as 2018. This training was part of the initiative entitled “Alternative Refrigerants Academy”, which we implemented under the REAL Alternatives project. Our lectures were delivered by top specialists working daily in companies supporting our project – AC PRORE, Carel, Digitel, Danfoss, Dorin, LU-VE, UDT, Gazex, and the Office of Technical Inspection.

The training program is divided into two days. On the first day of the training, each participant will receive all necessary training materials from us – including a handbook prepared by our professionals titled “Flammable refrigerants in refrigeration and air conditioning”. We also provide meals and beverages for all participants.
The practical part will be carried out using our training equipment under the supervision of qualified instructors. The exercises will allow you to test your newly acquired knowledge in practice – you will learn how to work with installations and servicing. This day will conclude with an exam, which will allow us to confirm your skills and present you with a certificate confirming participation in the training.
